Don’t run every stoplight if you end up in a snowstorm. Other than that, I’ve got nothing.

There’s certainly no shortage of breweries and places to get a drink. You’d be pretty close to some mountain towns too. What kind of stuff are you looking for?

Pikes Peak is less than two hours away from Denver, a bucket list drive for many. There are some pretty neat museums around, including a Shelby museum near Boulder.

If Pebble costs less, I’m all for it.

He’s only 17, so bar hopping is out. Mainly looking for stuff that will interest him but won’t cause me to want to slit my wrists.

Was all excited about the Shelby Museum -- it’s only open on Saturdays, though.

It’s more in Denver, but you could check out the Cussler museum which is Clive Cussler’s personal collection of cars. The Forney musem of transportation in Denver also has a superb collection of vehicles.
There’s a number of good hiking trails around Boulder. The Flatirons get pretty packed on weekends but the views are nice.
The drive to Nederland is a short but fun one, might not be a bad idea to grab some lunch, the Peak to Peak highway is also a great drive.

Plenty to do in the Boulder zone.... if you like outdoor stuff.
- The flatirons are so epic, they should be a national park. If you like hiking- go check out the Mallory Cave trail that starts at NCAR (National Center for Atmospheric Research) here in town.
- Rocky Mtn National Park is 45 min away, and totally epic. For hiking or even just driving through (Trail ridge rd tops out at 12,000 ft) and Old Falls Creek is the best way to get to it.
-
Eldorado Canyon State park (southern
part of the flatirons) is also amazing.
- A bunch of (literally) mind-blowing weed shops.
Yeah, weed and cool mountain zones... welcome to Bo
ulder!!!!!!!!!
